Nokia Lumia 505 Comes With Windows Phone 7.8

Originally spotted at the beginning of December, we have the new Nokia Lumia 505 that has just been made official, and it is nice to know that this device has also made an appearance over at the Nokia Mexico website. What makes the Nokia Lumia 505 so special? For starters, this is the first smartphone from the Finnish smartphone manufacturer that is powered by the Windows Phone 7.8 operating system right out of the box without the need to wait for any updates, and best of all is, it is going to be easy on your bank account this festive season.

The Nokia Lumia 505 does seem to look a lot like the Lumia 510 in terms of its features, sporting a 3.7” display with 800 x 480 resolution, 3G (850/1900MHz) and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS support, an 8-megapixel camera at the back with VGA recording capability, an 800MHz single-core processor, 4GB of internal memory, and 7GB of storage space on SkyDrive. It lacks a front-facing camera, and you cannot further expand its storage space via a microSD memory card, but we do know that it will feature a 1,300 mAh battery.
