The elusive ZTE Nubia Z5 was first leaked earlier this month, and judging from the information that we’ve gathered so far, the specs are pretty impressive. We previously thought that ZTE will launch the said device on the 21st of December, but for some reason, it didn’t, and instead, opted to launch the device five days after the expected date – December 26th. Yes folks, the ZTE Nubia Z5 has just been launched and is now available for ¥ 3,456.00 or roughly $555 based on today’s exchange rate.

The device will be available in China next month. The ZTE Nubia Z5 sports a 5-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor and supported by a 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The ZTE Nubia Z5 also supports NFC and is running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Other features include a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and a 2300mAh battery. There’s also a limited edition titanium model which costs ¥ 7,890 or around $1,265.
