Konami announced its Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection this past April, which it slightly delayed from a June release to a July 9 release. Its release is fast approaching, which means now would be the perfect time for Konami to release an official trailer for the game.

The trailer for Metal Gear Solid: The Legeacy includes multiple shots from all of the games the collection will includes, so expect to see clips from Metal Gear Solid, the HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophy Edition, Peace Walker and VR Missions. We even get to see some quick shots of the two included Ashley Wood digital graphic novels in the game collection’s latest trailer, all of which are featured along with some seriously cinematic music that may bring a tear to your eye.

The Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy collection is coming at a great time considering Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has already been revealed, although no release date has been set for the next chapter in the Metal Gear Solid series. Either way, you’ll have enough to keep you busy if you decide to pick up this collection to prepare yourself for Metal Gear Solid 5.
