In almost every HTC One review, the device has been praised for its metal unibody manufacturing process. The process is said to be one of the core reasons behind the delay of HTC One. Despite that, HTC’s latest flagship smartphone has an amazing design that is loved by many, and the company has now confirmed that the same process will be seen in future HTC smartphones as well. The comments were made by Justin Huang, senior manager of design and innovation at HTC Lab, at an event in Bangkok.

Huang says that the company has now worked out all the kinks and that this process is working nicely at scale. It takes each single unit up to two hours in the process, which produces 700 units at one time in a “box,” and there are multiple boxes in production at any given time. Huang says that the company will continually use this manufacturing process in the future now. Rumored smartphones such as HTC One Max and HTC One Mini are all said to have metal unibody designs. In order to get an idea of how things work, do take a look at how the HTC One is fashioned out of pure metal. [Image via CNET]
