iPhone 5S Rumored To Come With Motion Tracking Feature

iphone-5-review--26Earlier we had reported on the rumor that the upcoming iPhone 5S could feature Apple’s new A7 chipset which according to a Fox News report, Clayton Morris, would be 31% faster than its predecessor. Morris has since followed up with a new tweet with this tweet claiming that the iPhone 5S could feature motion tracking technology as well. According to Morris, “I’ve also heard there’s a separate chip devoted to motion tracking. Should be an interesting camera upgrade.” This is particularly interesting because while we have heard rumors about the iPhone 5S featuring hardware upgrades such as a faster processor, a fingerprint scanner, and presumably a better camera, we have not heard about motion tracking so far.

We’re not sure what sort of camera features could be used with this motion tracking technology, but it will be interesting to see how Apple markets it, assuming it is true of course. As it stands Apple is set to announce the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C at a 10th of September event. The Cupertino company has yet to send out the invites to the event but we expect they will start doing so as the date approaches, but what do you guys make of this? Any idea on what the alleged motion tracking feature could be used for?
