nexus-5-renderSo, there has been plenty of buzz surrounding a yet unreleased LG Nexus 5 smartphone that made an appearance over in a the Android 4.4 KitKat video, and here we are with what could possibly be a render of the Nexus 5. Apart from that, there was an alleged LG device that has arrived at the FCC for approval, which many also think it is the upcoming Nexus 5. What the FCC filing did reveal was some interesting bits and pieces about the possible Nexus 5, but it did not manage to reveal the design of the upcoming smartphone in its entirety, so I guess we will just have to wait until some time closer to the device’s launch date to find out more.

What you see above is an alleged new Nexus 5 render that should give us a general idea on what the upcoming device will look like. The back side of the alleged device does seem to be inspired by the Nexus 7, sporting a large Nexus logo in tow, where it will be accompanied by a massive camera sensor as well as flash. Not only that, a rather massive display which showcases the Android 4.4 KitKat logo also could have given the game away, and the profile does seem to depict a thinner chassis compared to the existing Nexus 4.
