Flickr iOS 7 App Automatically Uploads Full Resolution Photos

With the release of iOS 7, app developers have been scrambling to update their respective apps in order to make full use of the tweaks and changes Apple made to the mobile operating system. After weeks of being available to iOS users, Yahoo has announced its Flickr application has received an update to make better use of iOS 7.

The latest version of Flickr for iOS 7 allows users to automatically upload their photos to the service from the iPhone’s camera roll in full resolution. Yes – you read that correctly. Your photos on your iPhone’s camera roll will automatically be uploaded onto Flickr at full resolution, although we recommend for those of you with tiered data plans to keep an eye when this new feature takes place as uploading full resolution images could eat up a good chunk of your monthly data allowance.

In addition to auto uploading of full resolution images, Flickr is also including auto straighten support to its photo editor, which allows users to straighten their photos prior to uploading them onto the service.
