The Android world has gone completely bonkers over Android 4.4 KitKat seeing how the latest version of the Android OS has started to make itself available across a number of devices already. The last we heard of Android 4.4 KitKat, Motorola listed six of its own devices that are expected to receive the update, but today, we’re hearing Nexus 4 owners could very well be receiving their update as early as today.

According to Android Central, Android 4.4 KitKat has started to roll out to the Nexus 4 as an OTA update. The site has received several reports from users saying they were receiving the new KRT16S build, who also didn’t sideload the factory image which was made available earlier this week. The Android 4.4 KitKat update reportedly weighs a total of 238MB, so if you happen to own a Nexus 4, then you should expect the update to take some time out of your day to first download, and then to install.

Although on the other side of the spectrum, you’ll be able to enjoy all the joys of having an Android device running Android 4.4 KitKat, which seems like something all Android owners, and maybe even some iOS owners, want to be a part of these days.
