Gone are the days when our mobile devices used to have tiny screens and cluttered keyboards. The trend has shifted towards full screen devices with large displays, consumer preference has certainly tilted towards devices with displays from 5 inches and higher. With that generous screen real estate, its now possible to run two apps simultaneously. Samsung has the “Multi-Window” feature on a number of devices which lets users run two apps side by side. LG threw its hat in the ring as well with the G Flex, the flexible smartphone’s “Split View” feature has been ported to the LG G2.

The LG G2 smartphone was released earlier this year. Its impressive specifications and sheer performance earned it raving reviews. While the G2 doesn’t lack in the features department, Split View will definitely be a welcome addition for those users who are really into the concept of multitasking. Given the fact that this feature has been unofficially ported from another LG device, some apps are not totally copacetic with it, such as Hangouts and Tapatalk. Installing Split View on LG G2 isn’t complicated at all, the developer has created a ZIP file that can be flashed through the custom recovery. It works with a number of LG G2 variants including the D800, D802, LS980, VS980 and more.
