htc-one-x-top-630HTC might have already introduced the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system update to the flagship HTC One smartphone, and are currently working to deliver this particular update to the likes of the HTC One mini as well as the HTC One Max devices. Apart from that, many HTC fans are also waiting for confirmation on whether some of the other HTC One smartphones would be on the receiving end of such treatment. The main HTC headquarters have not yet issued anything official as at press time, but HTC Denmark has apparently gone one step ahead, sharing the upcoming plans for the HTC One X+, where an HTC rep did respond via Twitter on a question that concerns the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the HTC One X+, “We can confirm the HTC One X+ will remain on the current software version, Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5.”

I guess if that were to be true, one would not be able to find the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or Android 4.4 KitKat updates for the HTC One X+. To put that into perspective, the HTC One X+ which is already a reasonably powerful handset will not be picking up a newer version of Android, so normal HTC One X as well as HTC One S users should also give up on the idea as well.
