Nokia Touch Update Lets You Disable Button Vibration

nokia-touch-updateIn the latest update from Nokia (version 2.2.0.1) that will target the Touch system app on Lumia Windows Phones, users will be pleased to know that they have a brand new setting that one is able to play around with – the ability to disable button vibration whenever one touches any of the capacitive buttons. In a nutshell, you can opt to turn the vibration off if that is not your cup of tea (or if you prefer to maximize the battery life on your device), or to have it turned on whenever you feel that you would like a little bit more feedback on your smartphone.

Do bear in mind that this particular setting would affect all of the three buttons available, namely Back, Windows and Search. It is more or less a minor change when you think about it, but one that is potent enough to deliver a massive impact when it comes to the all important user experience. You will be able to perform a manual check on your Lumia device or you can always take the more proactive route by dropping by this link in order to download the most recent Touch release and installing it manually. Do bear in mind that there will be a prompt that will ask you to reboot your Windows Phone when you decide to change this setting.
