In a couple of weeks HTC is going to take center stage in London and New York to unveil its 2014 flagship smartphone, the much rumored All New HTC One. There have already been a lot of rumors and leaks related to this smartphone, and even to this day they keep coming in. The latest bit once again comes from trusted Twitter leaker @evleaks, who has not only published an image of what appears to be a cover for the smartphone, but has also claimed that an All New HTC One Google Play Edition device is on the cards as well.

Last year a Google Play Edition variant of HTC One was released, its essentially the same phone with vanilla Android, meaning that there’s no Sense UI slapped on top of it. The phone runs on pure Android, just the way Google cooks it. It certainly won’t be surprising if that’s repeated this year as well, though its unclear how soon after the flagship’s launch is the GPE going to arrive.

The cover appears to be riddled with holes, apart from being capable of displaying the time and weather in colors. No word on its price as yet, but if its meant to be released alongside the flagship, we’re probably going to hear about it at HTC’s event on March 25th.
