oppo-find-7_001The Oppo Find 7 will be unveiled on the 19th of March according to recent invites that have been sent out by the company. The handset has been teased for a pretty long time now and safe to say many are looking forward to it.

Why is that? Well perhaps the fact that the Oppo Find 7 will pack a QHD display is one of the reasons why many are curious as to how the phone might handle. In fact a recent report has suggested that a 50MP camera could find its way onto the phone as well, making it even more interesting. Unfortunately recent photos of the handset that have surfaced seems to suggest otherwise.

According to recent photos that have appeared on the Red Dot Design award website, the Oppo Find 7 has been revealed in all of its glory along with some of its specs. As expected, the phone will pack a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 display, but according to the listed specs, it will feature a 13MP camera instead, as opposed to the 50MP camera that was reported on earlier.

We’re not sure what is with the discrepancy here, but it has been hinted that there could be more than one variation of the Oppo Find 7, so it is possible that the other model could be the one packing the 50MP camera. However we would have thought that such a feature might make it onto the phone with the QHD display instead.

In any case the website also reveals other features of the phone, such as the use of metal and glass in the design of the phone, and additional photos reveal a notification LED at the bottom of the phone that will light up when notifications have been received. Either way we will learn more on the 19th of March, but in the meantime is anyone else disappointed by the lack of a 50MP camera?
