Sony PlayStation 4 owners have something amazing to look forward to this summer. PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager Sercan Sulun let it slip on CNN Turk’s Multiplayer gaming show that The Last of US for PlayStation 4 is coming this summer. According to Sulun, the game is going to be available on PlayStation Network as well as on physical discs. Graphics are said to be improved.

In June 2013 The Last of Us was launched as a PlayStation 3 exclusive title. As of mid-March 2014, the title has sold over six million copies around the world, its safe to say that it has been a hit. Its Left Behind story DLC has been well received as well, Sulun says that The Last of Us for PS4 will also include the Left Behind DLC, so gamers will be able to play through this story as well on their next generation console.

This means that first-time players will get the whole The Last of Us story upfront, whereas those who have already played it on the PlayStation 3 will be able to enjoy improved graphics. Apparently additional single and multiplayer content is being readied as well, which may come after the title hits PS4. Those most fans will just be happy that The Last of Us has finally landed on the new console.
