The tablets in question includes the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. In fact the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 was recently spotted at the FCC with Verizon’s radios on board, so we guess it does not really come as a surprise.
No word on how much Verizon will be offering the tablets, but as it stands Amazon is offering up the Kindle Fire HDX 7 LTE for $300, while the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 LTE is priced at $494. Tablets rarely get very huge subsidies unlike smartphones, so if they are discounted, we don’t expect them to be discounted by a huge amount, so that’s worth taking into consideration.
No word on when any of these tablets are expected to make their official debut on Verizon’s network, but with some of the tablets spotted at the FCC, we’re guessing it shouldn’t be too long before we get the official word, so do check back with us at a later date for the details! In the meantime which tablet are you guys planning on getting?
