lgl80LG might have its fair share of smartphones released over the years, ranging from entry level to mid-range and high end models such as the upcoming LG G3, but for today, here we are with another member of the South Korean company’s highly affordable L Series III range of smartphones, the LG L80. The LG L80 will join in another three devices from the same series, the LG L90, L70 and L40, that were introduced earlier at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

What you see on the right is the LG L80, where this mid-range handset is tipped to arrive with dual SIM capability so that you can be productive even with a single handset. There will be four capacitive touch buttons as well, where they are the back, home, menu and multi-tasking buttons up front, while the single SIM version of the LG L80 is tipped to also come with a physical home button.

Other rumored hardware specifications for the LG L80 would include a 5-inch display with an 800 x 480 resolution count, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system of choice, and a 2,540mAh battery. No idea on how much it will cost should it arrive in the US, but it should be pretty comfortable for most budgets out there.
