child-of-light

Ubisoft’s popular turn-based role playing game is making its way to Sony’s handheld console. Today it confirmed that Child of Light for PlayStation Vita is going to be released in July. It will be available as a digital download for the console. A retail Complete Edition will be made available as well which will include all additional game contents, collectibles, a new character and a bonus quest.

Child of Light had initially been launched for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and the PC. For those platforms the game cost $15. It won’t be priced differently on the Vita. Digital and retail download will both cost $15.

The game will be making its way to the PlayStation Vita in Europe on July 2nd. PlayStation Vita owners in North America will be able to get their hands on Child of Light from July 1st. Details about availability in other territories are slim at this point in time though we expect them to become available as the release draws near. There’s no confirmation if this title is offered through a cross-buy scheme, so it can’t be said for sure those who have already paid for it on PS3 or PS4 will have to pay again on the PS Vita.

This 2D role playing game has received great reviews primarily due to its gorgeous art work and exemplary combat.
