htc-one-mini-2-press-leakIt was earlier this week when a leaked photograph of the HTC One mini 2 was shown to reveal that the HTC One (M8)’s Duo camera set up will not be making its way over to the mini version of the device. This particular bit of news has been confirmed via a press render that depicts the lack of a missing second lens that is found in the HTC One (M8). This second lens on the flagship device would come in handy whenever one wants to change the focus on a photo that has already been captured, or one that has been processed. The ability to change the focus from the foreground to the background is definitely invaluable when it comes to expressing your artistic ability, but since it is missing from the mini 2 model, you can forget about making changes to your snapped photos.

HTC has also decided to do away with the rear-facing UltraPixel camera, but rather, seems to be content in throwing in a 13MP shooter instead right at the back of the HTC One mini 2. Other rumored hardware specifications of this particular handset includes a 4.5″ display at a resolution count of 720 x 1280 pixels, a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 pre-installed.
