Moto X+1 Rumored To Arrive On All Major Carriers

moto-x-review-05While Motorola might not have announced the Moto X’s successor at their event last week, word on the street is that the device could be headed towards all four major carriers – AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile. This is according to the ever-reliable @evleaks who also revealed that the device would be codenamed “Victara”, so perhaps that’s a name to keep an eye out for in databases and whatnot.

We guess the idea that the Moto X+1 would be arriving on all four major carriers hardly comes as a surprise, especially since the Moto X pretty much did the same thing too. Unfortunately we still do not have a date as to when the Moto X+1 could be announced, but we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for it.

No word on the hardware specifications of the Moto X+1 either, but hopefully Motorola will be stepping things up. With the Moto X, the company chose to go with a mid-ranged spec route, which was a little surprising especially given its original price tag. However Motorola did make up for it by offering certain features that made the phone unique, as well as the ability to customize the heck out of it through Moto Maker.

The same customizability treatment is expected to make its way onto the Moto X+1 as well, at least according to the rumors. The only difference is that this time around, there will be a leather finish option added to the mix, while previously the options were either to go with a different color, or to add a wooden backplate.
