Sensory Releases Combined Vision and Voice Authentication For Mobile Devices

YouTube Poster

Sensory has been developing speech recognition software solutions for the past 20 years and I had the opportunity to meet CEO Todd Mozer for a demo of TrulySecure, its  new technology that enables biometric authentication for Smartphones, tablets and PCs. Sensory TrulySecure combines voice and face recognition to unlock applications on mobile devices, and it can be used by OEMs to unlock the device itself.

Sensory powers voice recognition in a number of devices, including wearables and smart watches, Todd Mozer could tell me that Samsung, Pantech, LG and Motorola are current customers, but he could not provide specific devices or applications that his company has developed for those manufacturers. Todd provided a demo of voice commands for wearables developed by Sensory, check out the video demo at the end of the article.

According to Sensory’s CEO, TrulySecure’s biometric authentication on the device offers better accuracy at a lower cost than the current fingerprint reading solutions, in fact, a fingerprint sensor with its software can cost from $5 to $10 per device, which is a high price in the consumer electronics manufacturing world.

Combining face and voice recognition enables a higher level of security, additionally, TrulySecure runs exclusively on the device and not in the cloud, which is the other benefits for consumers who do not like to have their biometric information stored in the cloud.

TrulySecure demonstrations and SDKs are now available to qualified developers. For more information visit the website: http://sensoryinc.com/

In the video demo below, you can see that Sensory provides fast and accurate speech recognition for wearable devices, and, according to Todd Mozer, the software solution is also low power.
