A lot of good news is coming from E3 2014 today, and now we have some particularly for PC users who have been waiting for this for quite some time now. During its press conference Electronic Arts confirmed The Sims 4 release for PC. This title was actually delayed last year but now the publisher confirms that a release is on track for later this year.

Back in October last year EA confirmed that The Sims 4 will be released worldwide in fall of 2014. The delay came after the publisher disclosed in a financial briefing back in May 2013 that it expected to launch the title in early 2014. Sims is a popular life simulator franchise from Electronic Arts and this is the latest installment for PCs.

It has been finally confirmed today that The Sims 4 release for PC is going to take place on September 7. It will be available for both Windows and Mac. The game will let players tweak every aspect of their virtual character’s lives, including but not limited to personality, voice, walk and more.

Those who are interested in playing The Sims 4 on PC can now pre-order the Limited Edition version for $59.99 from the official website. It includes the exclusive Live of the Party digital content. For $69.99, an Origin exclusive Digital Deluxe version is also up, it includes the Up All Night digital content apart from other extras that haven’t been announced yet.
