About a week ago we reported that for one night only, the voice acting cast of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us would be performing live on stage. The show, dubbed The Last of Us: One Night Live, was performed live at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Well the good news for those who have missed it because they weren’t in the area or didn’t have the time, you will be pleased to learn that the performance has been uploaded onto YouTube.

So for international fans of the game, you will be able to catch the cast in action in their theatrical performance. It’s an interesting take on the game and no doubt casts the game and franchise into a new light. We reckon the performance will also help convince gamers that they should probably pick up the remastered version of the game for the Sony PlayStation 4.

It has also been reported that there was a special performance right at the end that was not broadcasted as it was a treat designed for attendees only (we’ve been seeing a lot of those lately). Apparently the voice actors for Joel and Ellie, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson respectively, performed a scene that Neil Druckmann wrote as an epilogue to the game but decided to leave it out last minute.

We weren’t there ourselves, but for those who attended or watched the stream, what did you guys think? In the meantime for those who haven’t, you will be able to watch the entire performance (minus the bonus at the end) in the video above. It is pretty long so you might want to get comfortable, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the show.
