leica_v_lux-550x359If you’re into taking photos of wildlife, chances are you might want to think about investing in a camera or a camera lens with a long zoom. This is because the long zoom allows you to study your subject in a more natural and relaxed state, as opposed to you shoving your camera in their faces. It is also a lot safer.

That being said, Leica has announced the latest addition to their V-Lux camera lineup and if you’re interested, the new V-Lux (Typ 114) will be priced at £925.00 and is expected to be made available this October. It will also come bundled with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, which we guess is not a bad deal given the price of the camera itself.

Moving on, the camera will feature a 25-400mm lens and will start with an aperture of f/2.8 at the widest, and f/4 at telephoto. For those who are looking for that bokeh effect even at maximum zoom, then the new Leica V-Lux should be able to deliver that. The camera will also pack a 1-inch sensor, a 3-inch LCD display, a 2.4MP OLED electronic viewfinder, and a WiFi module like the D-Lux that will allow for wireless photo transfers via the Leica Image Shuttle App.
