Moto-Turbo-ChargerDon’t you just hate it when your phone is out of battery and you have to wait for a while for it to charge before it is usable again? If you’re at home and you’re not in dire need of your phone, this isn’t a big deal, but what if you’re out like in school or at work and you need some juice?

Well if you’re planning on getting your hands on the new Moto X, you might be interested to learn that one of the accessories that Motorola will be launching with the handset will be the Turbo Charger. As its name implies, the Turbo Charger, according to Motorola, will apparently give your new Moto X handset 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes!

We should point out that this only works if your phone’s battery is completely flat, in which the Turbo Charger will bring it back to life and in working condition in a matter of minutes, after which charging levels will be brought back to normal levels. This is built on Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 feature that was announced this year.

So far there are a couple of handsets that supports the technology, such as the Sony Xperia Z2 and the HTC One M8, but with the new Moto X, we guess it’s got a helping hand with the Turbo Charger. The Motorola Turbo Charger will be priced at $35 but unfortunately Motorola has yet to confirm when it will be released.
