Can you believe it that some game franchises out there are capable of lasting for more than a decade, and every single title that they release does look as though there was the Midas touch applied, selling in droves? Mario is definitely one of the evergreen franchises, although the House of Mario might be a wee bit shaky these days (pardon the pun) with their latest console losing much ground to the PS4 and Xbox One. The Pokémon Company in Japan recently rolled out a new trailer that will showcase what Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are all about.

While the entire trailer is in Japanese, you know what they say – a single picture speaks a thousand words, so we might as well enjoy it in its entirety. The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trailer shows off remakes of 12-year-old Game Boy Advance titles, in particular, the Pokémon themselves, alongside their environment as well as battles. Basically, you do not need any excuse to catch and train Pokémon, but for tradition’s sake, you will go through the Hoenn region to catch, battle and trade Pokémon while looking to solve the mystery behind Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, not to mention the possibility of a connection to Mega Evolutions.
