Just last week Ubisoft revealed the minimum and recommended specs for PC gamers who are looking to play Assassin’s Creed Unity on their computers. While we know that the game is a new game, the requirements were surprisingly high. While both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs are supported, it seems that NVIDIA gamers will have a slight edge.

Ubisoft has recently released a video which shows off Assassin’s Creed featuring NVIDIA GameWorks’ technology which is basically where the game has been tuned and enhanced for gamers running an NVIDIA GPU. This isn’t to say that your AMD GPU has been rendered useless, but if you want the best of the best graphics, NVIDIA is the way to go.

This isn’t the first time Ubisoft has partnered with NVIDIA to make their games look better. Earlier this year Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs was also another title that took advantage of NVIDIA GPUs and it was later announced that upcoming titles such as Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Crew, and The Division would take advantage of NVIDIA’s GameWorks technology as well.

For those who might have missed our previous report, Assassin’s Creed Unity for the PC will require gamers to own an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 with 2GB of VRAM at the very least. AMD gamers will be able to get away with a Radeon HD 7970, also with 2GB of VRAM. In the meantime if you want to see the best possible graphics squeezed out by a graphics card, check out the video above.
