djay is a very popular application for the iPad, it also happens to be one of the best selling apps of its kind. This is a DJ app that has been around for a very long time on Apple’s tablet and today a new version arrives on the Mac with even more features, and Spotify integration baked right in. This new app comes from developer Algoriddim and it’s called djay PRO.

This application takes your DJ-ing to the next level with its professional features, thus enable you to do more than you would have been able to on the tablet. According to the team djay PRO has been purpose built for OS X so that users can take advantage of 64-bit processing.

Apart from all of its different features the app also has Spotify integration. This isn’t the first time Spotify has been integrated into the djay apps. Back in May the djay 2 app was released for iOS and it added Spotify integration to the iPad.

djay PRO app for Mac takes advantage of iCloud sync so if you’ve already using a djay app on an iOS device when you load your library on the OS X version all metadata, grid adjustments and more are synced automatically.

The Mac App Store now houses this application, which costs $49.99.
