There are some parts of the world where LTE isn’t as fast as it could or should be. Over in Japan that doesn’t seem to be a problem as local carrier NTT DOCOMO has recently expanded its LTE service onto its 1700MHz spectrum. That being said to demonstrate just how fast their LTE service is, the carrier has cooked up a rather fun and bizarre commercial that involves the frying of shrimp.

Basically the ad shows some shrimp being placed into an air cannon. After which the shrimp is fired from the air cannon into an egg mixture, battery, fire, before landing onto a plate fully cooked. Yes, it cooks that fast, or at least that’s what we think NTT DOCOMO is trying to tell us with their LTE speeds.

Of course we can’t be 100% sure that this is how the shrimps were genuinely cooked, but either way it is pretty entertaining and hilarious, so if you enjoy your cooking shows and demonstration of technology, then you’ll want to take a minute or two to check it out. We don’t suggest you attempt this at home as impressed as you think your friends and family will be. So what do yu guys think? Is your LTE just as fast, if not faster?
