xolo-win-1000Xolo, a company that has made headlines in the past with claims to working on the lightest Windows Phone-powered smartphone in the world alongside the likes of highly affordable smartphones and a decent foray into the tablet market, is back again. This is one of the few new Indian Windows Phone OEMs, where they are said to be working on a spanking new Xolo WIN Q1000 handset.

The Xolo WIN Q1000 has already undergone an import of 10,000 units – at least according to the importation site known as Zauba, where it has listed down a more generous 5” display that your eyes would definitely more than welcome, not to mention Dual SIM capability that allows you to separate both your work and private life without having to carry around a couple of handsets.

All in all, the Xolo WIN Q1000 does seem to be an upgrade of sorts over what we have seen in the past, and it is sure as heck refreshing to see a different take on the usual Windows Phone-powered smartphones by small time OEMs. It remains to be seen as to whether the Xolo WIN Q1000 smartphone will make its way outside of India or not, and whether the developed world will embrace such a device.
