e-fun-nextbook-ares-series-pressCES 2015 is around the corner and we expect that at the event, many OEMs will be showing off their latest products. However due to the hustle and bustle of CES, many announcements could get lost in the noise which is why some manufacturers have decided to make their announcements ahead of the event.

E FUN is one of those companies as they have recently taken the wraps off four different types of tablets in the form of the Nextbook Ares 8, Nextbook Ares 8L, Nextbook Ares 10L, and the Nextbook Ares 11. Starting with the Nextbook Ares 8, this is a tablet with an 8-inch display and will be powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor.

This tablet will share the specs of the 8L and 10L, with the main difference being its chipset and its lack of LTE connectivity. The 8L and 10L will feature 8-inch and 10-inch displays respectively with a 1280×800 resolution. They will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a detachable keyboard for the 10L.

As for the Nextbook Ares 11, this is a 11.6-inch tablet with a 1366×768 IPS display. It will be powered by an Intel quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 1GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and 2MP front and rear-facing cameras, and will also come with a detachable magnetic keyboard. All four tablets are expected to go on sale in May and will be priced at $129 for the Ares 8, $199 for the Ares 8L, $229 for the Ares 10L, and $249 for the Ares 11.
