Project Cars is an upcoming racing sim that has been developed by UK-based Slightly Mad Studios. The team behind it raised money of this project through their own crowdfunding platform and were able to get $5 million in funding. It was announced last year that Bandai Namco has picked up Project Cars for full distribution. Bandai Namco has now released the latest Project Cars trailer which highlights the graphical fidelity of this title.

This is the same studio that was behind Need for Speed: Shift 1 and Shift 2: Unleashed, it goes without saying that they have the skills required to making a racing game, the game’s creative director Andy Tudor has said that Project Cars is the “culmination of all our experience and skills as a team.”

In the new trailer the game’s weather effects are highlighted apart from the wide variety of vehicles that players will be able to take for a spin. Bandai Namco claims this title has the largest number of tracks available when compared to any recent game of this kind, extensive tuning and pit strategy tools as well as “freeform career mode” which lets players choose their own path.

This “most technically-advanced, beautiful, intense and authentic racing game” is destined for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC come March 20th.
