hp-elite-x2There are times when you would like to have the power of a notebook, and at other times, would just want the computing capabilities of a tablet. Well, certain hybrid devices in the market do offer such a selection, but for the models that require the display to be folded back 180 degrees, those do not happen to be the ideal tablet weight. A detachable display would work far better in this case, and HP thinks so too, hence revealing the HP Elite x2 1011 G1.

Needless to say, the HP Elite x2 1011 G1 is both a tablet and an Ultrabook, being the sole device that you need to bring around with you wherever your work takes you. Running on an Inte Core M processor, the HP Elite x2 1011 G1 will be accompanied by 8GB RAM, tops, and you can also have up to 512GB SSD installed on it, although 128GB would be the default capacity in which it comes in before you throw some money to add more bells and whistles.

The display will be an 11.6″ HD screen with touchscreen capability, and your ears will be treated to DTS Studio Sound. As for connectivity fret not – it will feature LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. Need to tote around more data without lugging a hard drive around? This is where the microSD memory card slot comes in handy, while the micro SIM slot on the tablet allows you to remain connected even when there is no WiFi network around.
