HTC Desire 320 Continues From Where The Desire 310 Left Off

[CES 2015] It looks like HTC has more or less kept to their word of focusing on the Desire range this CES, and the first product (of many, perhaps – who really knows for sure until all of the dust settles?) out of the stalls would be the HTC Desire 320 – which by virtue of its numerical naming convention itself would be the younger twin, so to speak, of the HTC Desire 310. The HTC Desire 310 was announced close to a year back (in March, to be exact), and this time around, the Desire 320 has had the veil lifted from it – with more or less similar hardware specifications. Strange, really.

The HTC Desire 320 would maintain the 4.5″ FWVGA display at 480 x 854 resolution, where it will have a quad-core 1.3GHz processor beating as its heart, accompanied by either 512MB RAM or 1GB RAM, depending on where it is released, with a similar slant to its internal memory of either 4GB or 8GB.

There is one major difference though – the HTC Desire 320 will roll with Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box, and a microSD memory card would be essential to help you make the most of this smartphone. Other than that, other things more or less remain the same – a 5MP shooter that does Full HD video recording capability, and a front-facing VGA camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi, while GPS is also thrown into the mix. Expect the HTC Desire 320 to roll out in the UK first, and is already on sale in Canada via Telus.
