PlayStation Now is Sony’s game streaming service. Not too long ago it was opened up to the public. At the time the rental charges for game streaming were deemed to be too high and many implored Sony to consider subscription plans. That it did. Last week Sony detailed new PlayStation Now subscription plans which are now live, you can subscribe and start streaming games right away.

Two subscription plans are being offered. A one month subscription costs $19.99. For A $15 saving gamers can opt for the three-month package which costs $44.99. Its essentially an all you can play model so just pay for the subscription once and you get access to over 100 PlayStation 3 games.

Some of the well known titles included in the PlayStation Now subscriptions are Batman: Arkham City, InFamous, Final Fantasy XIV and many more. As PlayStation Now grows so will the library. Game saves will live in the cloud so gamers will be able to pick up where they left off.

PlayStation 4 owners can subscribe to these new plans starting today in both U.S. and Canada. The service might be expanded internationally but that’s going to take time. A strong internet connection is a prerequisite since game streaming depends entirely upon the internet.

Down the line gamers will be able to access PlayStation Now on different devices. Sony’s recent partnership with Samsung will bring this game streaming service to the Korean giant’s latest smart TVs later this year.
