lg_g4cThe LG G4 was announced a couple of days ago, but if the rumors are to be believed, the company could be working on a smaller version called the LG G4c. That being said these rumors aren’t completely unfounded. Recently companies such as Samsung and LG have displayed the tendency to release flagship phones followed by smaller version of those phones.

So for LG to launch a smaller version of the LG G4 is not such a stretch. That being said, speculation of the smaller LG G4 came about when it was spotted that a Dutch retailer listed a device called the LG G4c with the model number being LG-H525N. Interestingly enough the retailer also listed its release date for the 12th of May which is a bit soon and also has us wondering why wouldn’t LG have announced it alongside the LG G4?

Unfortunately not much is known about this alleged smaller LG G4 so take it with a grain of salt for now. However based on previous releases in the past, the smaller version of flagship phones tend to pack less powerful specs. They are still decent phones but if you wanted all the bells and whistles, the flagship is still the way to go, but if you were after something smaller, more compact, and cheaper than we suppose this could be a good alternative as the Dutch retailer has priced it around the $330 mark.

Like we said you should probably take it with a grain of salt but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more information, so if a smaller LG G4 sounds ideal to you, check back with us in the coming weeks for the details!
