amazon-sign-652x350Sometimes you just want to order something small on Amazon, but because of shipping you might be put off and might decide to just go to a local store instead or settle for an alternative just to avoid the shipping fees. In the meantime Amazon has just lost out on a sale. Well the good news for Amazon shoppers is that things will change.

The company has announced that they will start to offer free shipping on items that cost below $10 and weighs less than eight ounces. This will apply to all sorts of small products and accessories, like makeup, phone accessories, earplugs, and more. The best part of this feature is that customers won’t need to be an Amazon Prime member in order to enjoy the free shipping.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, right? This also seems to be part of Amazon’s plan to be the one-stop place where you can go for all your needs. Recently we had heard the company had plans to start offering their own brand of groceries in the future. They have also started to offer Prime members free same-day delivery, thus making shopping on Amazon more convenient than ever.

There was also a report that Amazon wants a piece of the handmade market through their Handmade marketplace that will take on the likes of Etsy. If all of this won’t want to make you shop at Amazon, we won’t know what will.
