moto3indiaTo 2GB or not to 2GB, that is the question where the amount of RAM on the upcoming Moto G is concerned. Yes sir, this potentially waterproof third generation device has not quite firmed up its hardware specifications just yet on an official basis, where there has been the question of whether this Motorola issued smartphone will arrive with just 1GB RAM right out of the box, or double that amount in order to keep up with the times. Perhaps a posting on Indian export-import site Zauba might have answered that question, where the previous week saw 190 units of the third generation Moto G being shipped from Hong Kong all the way to India for testing.

Out of the units shipped, half of them were black in color, while the other half were white. In the listings, the amount of RAM listed was 2GB accompanied by 8GB of internal memory. Each of the white models were given a value of $240, while the black model was a wee bit cheaper with a $238 value. Other than the 190 handsets, a couple more were received in India, and those were listed at a value that is far lower than what was mentioned above.

I suppose all that we need to do now is to sit tight and wait for Motorola to run their July 28th event in New York as originally planned, where chances are we should be able to see the third generation Motorola Moto G arrive by then – with a full list of official hardware specifications, of course!
