Samsung Z3 Could Be Announced At Tizen Developer Summit

samsung logo 5Given the success Samsung has found with the Samsung Z1 Tizen handset, especially amongst emerging markets, we suppose it makes sense that the South Korean tech giant has plans to release a new Tizen phone. Last we heard this particular phone is dubbed the Samsung Z3 but the question is, when will it be released?

Well as it turns out the phone could very well be announced later this month. The Tizen Developer Summit is expected to be held later this month between the 30-31st of July, there is a good chance that Samsung could take that opportunity to unveil the device. With Tizen fans and developers in attendance, it seems like a good place as any to make the official announcement.

That and the fact that the Samsung Z3 was spotted on Zauba and was noted that it was there for a “partner event”, it certainly sounds like the Tizen Developer Summit is a good candidate. Of course this is just speculation and Samsung might not necessarily announce anything at the event, so we guess you’ll have to take this with a grain of salt for now and check back with us later for the details.

In the meantime in case some of you guys have forgotten, the leaked specs of the Samsung Z3 includes a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, Samsung will be turning to the use of a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC77305 processor with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2,600mAh battery to boot.
