HTC Desire 828w

HTC is expanding its Desire range of smartphones and that too at a very steady rate. In the latest development, the company has added yet another device in the list, named as Desire 828w. The new device has made an appearance at the TENAA certification center in China.

Going by the specifications, the phone looks like a mid-ranger and the design treads the same path as other Desire range of smartphones. The certification has revealed many details about the device, as per the leaks, the Desire 828w will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It will have 16GB of internal storage, with expansion up to 128GB via microSD card.

It will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an Ultrapixel front camera, and will run Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s in-house Sense 6.0 UI on top. In terms of hardware, the device looks similar to the last year launched Desire 826, although design-wise there are few changes. As per the leaked images, the Desire 828w features rounded edges and dual speaker grills. It measures 157.7×78.8×7.9mm, weighs 150 grams, and will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Grey, Orange, White, and Red color variants. HTC has not revealed the pricing of the device yet, we have to wait and watch if HTC launches the device out of China or not.
