galaxy-note-5-box

There has been no shortage of rumors and leaks related to the Galaxy Note 5 and even though we’re only a few days away from Samsung’s official announcement of the device the leaks just won’t stop coming. The latest leak comes in the form of a couple of images from Thailand which claim to show a purported Galaxy Note 5 retail box. It doesn’t appear to be much different than the retail box of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Samsung introduced the aforementioned flagship handsets in a new box this year which does away with the recycled material that featured on last year’s boxes. The new boxes sport a much simpler and cleaner design with the storage option mentioned on the top right and the handset’s named embossed on the front. Specifications are listed on the back.

The leaked images show a similar box for Galaxy Note 5 and there’s no reason to believe that it may be significantly different from the retail packaging design that Samsung has already used this year.

Specifications mentioned at the back list a 5.7 inch Quad HD resolution display with a 64-bit octacore processor and 4GB RAM, the handset will have a 16 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera with 4G LTE and Android 5.1.1.

Samsung’s next Unpacked event takes place on August 13th in New York City.
