htc-one-m9-live-2Last week Google officially released the Android Pay app meaning that if you have an Android phone with the required hardware/software, you should be able to download Android Pay and start using it. Now if you’re a HTC owner and you’re wondering if your devices will be compatible with Android Pay, wonder no more.

HTC has recently published a list of devices that will be compatible with Android Pay. According to this list, this pretty much includes the HTC One M9, HTC One M8, HTC One M7, the HTC Desire EYE, HTC Desire 626, HTC One E8, HTC One Max, HTC Desire 601, HTC Desire 816, and the Nexus 9.

However it should be noted that it will also vary from carrier to carrier. For the most part, HTC’s flagship phones up to the HTC One M7 will be compatible across all carriers, while other devices like the Desire 601 and Desire 816 will only be applicable to those on Sprint, but chances are some of these devices are exclusive to certain carriers to begin with.

If you do not own any of these devices, we suppose you’d be out of luck. Unfortunately there was no mention of any of HTC’s “mini” range like the HTC One Mini or the One Mini 2, so if you did buy them, it looks like you will have to pass on using Android Pay for now.
