Yesterday, we were treated to a couple of renders of an upcoming device from the folks over at Microsoft which is sure to make even the coldest heart go a-flutter. We are talking about the soon to arrive Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, which is tipped by many to be unveiled at the upcoming event organized by Microsoft this 6th of October in New York City. Not only that, should the Lumia 950 XL be revealed then, do expect it to be accompanied by other luminaries such as the Surface Pro 4 as well as the successor to the Microsoft Band. But I digress – back to a leaked CAD render of the Lumia 950 XL that you see above, which should further confirm the existence of a 5.7” display even though we are looking at it from the back.
Basically, CAD renders like the leaked one above tend to be used by companies to assist it in the manufacturing process of the handset, as well as for case manufacturers to perform the proper steps in order to ensure that their cases will fit the new model. There is the Microsoft logo that is embossed on the back of the device in the CAD render above, not to mention the presence of the PureView Zeiss label for the rear camera which should get pulses racing. Are you stoked yet?
