The highly anticipated new Tony Hawk title was earlier year this year, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 launch didn’t go exactly as plan though. Soon after the title was out many gamers started complaining countless bugs and issues that they experienced with the title. Activision has confirmed that it’s aware of these issues and that it’s working with the other developers to fix this once and for all.

Players have been complaining about bugs, performance issues and glitches with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 ever since the day it arrived, that’s not the way to go about a game launch but it seems to be happening quite a bit these days.

In a statement provided to Shacknews Activision said that it’s aware of the issues that many players have experienced following the launch of this new title, adding that it’s working with the developer to address these concerns so that the gameplay can be rapidly improved for all fans who have been with this franchise for over 16 years.

The question inevitably come up though, why Activision went ahead with the launch when the game was far from finished and had a plethora of bugs that first needed fixing? Perhaps the company itself can best answer that. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is available on PS3 and P4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
