Microsoft would like you to use Windows 10, it’s providing it as a free upgrade for the first year, so the company really can’t be any more clear about this. The strategy has worked to an extent, Windows 10 arrived in July this year and it is already powering over 110 million devices. In its latest effort to push Windows 10 Microsoft has decided to slash the price of thousands of movies and games to just 10 cents for ten days.

The promotion comes just in time for the long Thanksgiving weekend in the United States. From now through Sunday, November 29 users can purchase more than 1,000 movies, music, apps and games for only 10 cents each. It urges users to visit the store each day to stock up on their digital content and promises to provide some special surprises in the process.

Each day will bring new deals to the store and some may go out fast, Microsoft says, so do visit daily and see if there’s something that you would like to purchase for 10 cents. Some of the biggest Hollywood movies are a part of this promotion, including but not limited to Jurassic World, Terminator Genisys and Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1.

Music lovers can get hit singles from the likes of Justin Bieber, Pitbull and John Legend for the aforementioned price. Apps and games are also a part of this promotion, games like Angry Birds Star Wars, Mahjong Secrets HD and several productivity apps can also be had for 10 cents each.

Keep in mind though that these deals can only be accessed when using the Windows Store through a Windows 10-powered PC. The promotion is valid for 50 U.S. states and DC only.
