Samsung Offers $50 Rebate To Samsung Pay Users

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Samsung was offering a free wireless charger to customers who activate Samsung Pay for the first time. While we suppose that isn’t a bad deal, we’re sure there are some customers who do not want a wireless charger or need one. The good news is that if you still haven’t activated Samsung Pay yet, there is a new deal in town.

Given that the previous deal has since expired, Samsung has announced a new promotion in the form of a $50 rebate. According to Samsung’s promotions website, the rebate will come in the form of a check that will be mailed to customers within 4-6 weeks of them activating and registering their phone.

This is admittedly a long wait but if you were planning on using Samsung Pay anyway, we suppose this is a nice bonus. Plus it’ll take you a few minutes to get everything setup and to get paid $50 for that? Why not? This is admittedly a much better deal compared to the previous one since a check for $50 would be many times more flexible in terms of use.

You could use it to buy yourself a new wireless charger, or if you want you could use it towards something completely non-tech related, like going towards your rent, or maybe splurging on a nice meal for yourself. Either way this offer is valid for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, and/or Note 5 owners, and they must activate Samsung Pay within the 5th-19th of November time frame in order to qualify.
