Thanksgiving and Black Friday are nearly upon us. If you’re planning on doing a lot of shopping via your mobile device during the holidays, you might be pleased to learn that Verizon has a little gift for you in the form of free 2GB of data. The carrier will be giving it away to all its subscribers with eligible plans, so if you love free stuff, this is good news.
However note that the 2GB is the total of free data the carrier will be giving per user. How it works is that 1GB of free data will be added to your current billing cycle, and an additional 1GB of data will be added to your next billing cycle, so essentially you will be given a total of 2GB of data over the course of two months which we reckon is a pretty good deal.
If you plan to shop a lot or maybe you’re a data-heavy user who likes watching videos, this is good news. It also does not appear that there is a catch. In order to claim this free data, just head on over to Verizon’s website via your mobile device and claim it. Note that the deal is forever and right now there’s a clock counting down till it expires, which at this time of posting is about 4 days, so you’ll want to hurry up and claim it while it is still valid.
