gears-of-war

PC gamers have had to wait for a considerable amount of time just to be able to play titles like Killer Instinct and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. They’re still waiting for ports of these titles to be released for their preferred platform and today there’s good news for them. PC ports of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct are “not too far” now, they will most likely be released early next year.

It was confirmed back at E3 earlier this year by Microsoft that Killer Instinct and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will both be eventually making their way over to PC. However the company didn’t announce any release dates or other information related to the availability of these titles, so it basically left PC gamers hanging.

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox over at Microsoft, was asked over Twitter whether PC gamers could expect the aforementioned titles to be released on their preferred platform before March 2016. While Spencer didn’t provide a confirmed release date he did say that even though the dates haven’t been announced yet, the release “won’t be too far into 2016.”

If that really is the case then it shouldn’t take long for official released dates of these titles to be made public. We’ll keep an ear to the ground and report as and when the news comes in.
