There has been plenty of talk going on about gun control laws over in the US, and the debate is definitely far from finished – and it does not look as though a solution can be agreed on by everyone anytime soon, either. Having said that, several technologies like Identilock hopes to be able to ensure that only the owner of the gun can fire it, for safety as well as security reasons. Well, until that becomes mainstream, just how easy is it for one to be able to pick up a gun over here in the US? A comedian decided to go undercover by using a hidden camera to record his experience, and the result was rather surprising – he picked up a gun without the need for an ID, and the entire process took all of just less than 5 minutes, now how about that?
Comedians Steve Hofstetter, Brent Mukai, and Collin Moulton made their way to a Las Vegas gun show, and it does look as though purchasing a home, to rent a car, or even to obtain a fishing license would take a whole lot longer period of time, not to mention additional paperwork and processing to go through. Pretty scary thought, huh?
