kuveeThings do seem to get smarter and smarter these days, don’t you think so? So much so that even a bottle would be able to gain the “smart” moniker attached to it, and here we are with the Kuvee smart bottle that is not meant for water, but rather, for wine. Being smart would mean it is also WiFi-connected, allowing it to see action with approximately 50 different kinds of wines that are sold in refillable canisters.

This particular Kuvée bottle system will stand at approximately a foot in height, and it is a wee bit larger compared to the standard 750ml container. What makes it different from conventional bottles is the generously sized full-color LED touchscreen which is in place of a regular label, and it will charge on an included docking station. All that you need to do is to unscrew the twist cap from a refill, slide the bottle over it, and bring the two together with the sound of a click.

There is a proprietary spout mechanism which will stop air from entering the refill canister so that the wine remains nice and fresh up to a month, and this lets you open multiple bottles to taste and try without having to worry about finishing them. The bottle will cost $200 a pop, and refills will retail anywhere from $15 to $50.
