The LaFerrari is one of the most beautiful and technologically advanced supercars that the iconic Italian manufacturer has ever created. It’s also one of the most expensive cars in the world so most of us can only look at wallpapers and dream about owning such a machine. Those who can buy one, though, might be interested in finding out that there are rumors that Ferrari is working on an open-top variant of this 950bhp beast. Surely nobody will call it a hairdresser’s car.
Since the LaFerrari is a technological marvel, coming up with a successor isn’t exactly going to be easy, and Ferrari has already said that any potential successor to this car depends upon significant technological improvements that will justify the need to create a new car that takes over from the LaFerrari.
A LaFerrari Spider can’t really be called a “new” car since it’s only going to be a new version of the existing car. There are rumors that Ferrari is considering a limited production run of the LaFerrari Spider.
Ferrari hasn’t confirmed anything officially yet and the company’s policy is to not discuss speculation about what it might do in the future, so we’ll have to wait and see if a LaFerrari Spider does happen.
One can only imagine how an open-top LaFerrari might look, striking beyond belief, I’m sure.
